Ritu Kumar owns her own Dallas-based art studio, Ritu Handmade Arts, which was founded several years ago. Ritu is a self-taught artist, but with over 1000 paintings under her belt, she is a seasoned professional. She likes to experiment with her art by mixing different styles. Ritu combines abstract, modern and contemporary into her work. Additionally, Indian mythical motifs, myths and characters play a large role in her paintings. Ritu enjoys many different types of mediums including, watercolors, acrylics, oils, resins on canvas, glass and wood. Her work is largely influenced by real-life experiences and growing up in vibrant India. Her paintings have been part of several art exhibitions.
